For an additional twist, the court has awarded custody of the triplets to the Intended Father.  Surrogate intends to appeal on this point.  Also, as a side note, after speaking with a licensed Pennsylvania attorney, it is evident that this case could have been avoided if the Intended Parents had proper counsel.  They could have obtained a pre-birth order if they had followed the correct procedures.  What a shame that such a wonderful situation has turned into this mess!
