Egg donation, surrogacy, adoption, foster care, sperm and embryo donation - So, you are likely asking what does this have to do with the Oscars? Well, it has alot to do with it since Sandra Bullock’s acceptance speech last night.  She eloquently described what it means to be a parent, no matter how that happens, aside from biology.  As she (both Sandra Bullock and the woman she protrayed) did in the Blind Side, Michael was her son, no matter what his origins were.  Yet, she also never asked him to forget that or to ignore it – instead,  she brought him in and created an environment where he could grow as a person and as a human being.  What could be better than that?
